The HINS team was part of a committee of specialists in Córdoba province, working together to develop emission reduction quantification methodologies for mitigation projects within a pilot program for carbon emission reduction valorization and compensation.
This initiative primarily involved stakeholders from the public works construction sector, under the Ministry of Public Services of Córdoba and other voluntary participants.
Included projects:
Biogas generation from livestock waste.
Biofuel production for self-consumption.
The simplified methodologies were based on international standards, including the IPCC guidelines and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
