Due to its scale and technology, the CEGRO community solar park is positioned as one of the most important projects under the Community Distributed Generation model in cooperative areas in the province of Córdoba. This project, developed for the Cooperativa de Electricidad y Otros Servicios Públicos de General Roca Ltda (CEGRO), allows the community to generate its own renewable energy, promoting its development and strengthening its commitment to the environment.
The project, inaugurated in June 2025, will generate 624 MWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 200 families.
This project seeks to encourage more cooperatives and companies in the province to consider the GDC model as an alternative to generate their own renewable energy, reduce costs, gain predictability, and increase their competitiveness. In the current tariff context, this alternative is consolidating itself as an efficient and sustainable solution that directly impacts the quality of service and the economy of communities.
