The Biomass to Energy Program in Argentina (BEPA) focused on promoting initiatives aimed at reducing methane emissions and generating energy through biogas from biomass. HINS, in conjunction with First Climate (Switzerland), developed the methodological framework for the implementation of this program, addressing the quantification of anticipated emission reductions and a feasibility study for the proposed activity. The main purpose of the program was to generate emission reductions in accordance with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
